Returns

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, uninstalled or unused, and due to the fragile nature of natural stone, orders need to be returned in their original, protective packaging and in the exact condition they were received to be eligible for a refund. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Essential Details

• Once production has started or an order has been approved, custom orders cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged.
• Standard orders may be canceled, returned, or exchanged; however, if production has already begun, a 10% cancellation fee will be deducted from the customer’s refund. 
• Customers are responsible for covering the cost of return shipping.
• The original shipping charges paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.
• A restocking fee of 15% will be applied to all approved returns.
• Returns that have not received prior approval will not be accepted.
• Please contact us to request authorization before sending any items back.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@slowsurfacesstudio.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to our warehouse at the following address: 11417 IL 19, Franklin Park, IL 60131.

If your return is approved, we will provide a return shipping label along with detailed instructions on how and where to send your package. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from the customer’s refund. Customers may also choose to arrange their own return shipping. 

Natural Stone Disclaimer

Natural stone is a distinctive material, and variations in color, veining, texture, and pattern are inherent features. These natural differences are considered normal characteristics and do not constitute defects.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 48 hours of delivery if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
